New juvenile winner for Alpine Eagle
Promising two-year-old Spring Eagle is the latest juvenile winner to emerge for Alpine Eagle, winning on debut at Sale this afternoon.
Trainer Gavin Bedggood Racing stables knew he had a good horse going into the race.
“Look, it was an impressive win. We trialled him with the blinkers on and he was supposed to wear them today, so considering that, it was a really good win,” said Gavin.
“He’s got the perfect demeanour and took the split when it came today. He’s a promising horse that isn’t a natural jump-and-run two-year-old, but he’s shown us that he’s got what it takes.”
Spring Eagle is his sire’s 47th individual winner.
