Eaglesaurus

Alpine Eagle siblings duly deliver

Alpine Eagle’s daughter and son were to the fore last week, breaking their maidens at Wangaratta for trainer Simon Zahra.

Two-year-old filly Alpinova overcame the heavy track, easing down to win at just her second start, while her full brother Eaglesaurus fought hard to the line, beating a field of 14.

The wins come off the back of an excellent season for Alpine Eagle, who has sired 22 individual winners, including multiple Stakes winner Alpine Wolf.

Congratulations to their connections and breeder David Beattie.
