The Map

The Map extends Alpine Eagle’s mainland tally

Impressive three-year-old Alpine Eagle filly, The Map has returned in fine fashion to take out the Weslo Security Handicap (1600m) at Morphettville Racecourse for trainers Dan Clarken and Oopy Macgillivray.

Settled midfield by jockey Ben Price, she won with pure determination, lunging at the line to defeat seasoned 7-time winner Harbouring after doing plenty of work in the concluding stages of the race.

A spring three-year-old winner on debut, The Map holds a tidy race record, winning two from three starts and was only narrowly beaten at her last race day appearance.

Bred by our good friends Michael Crossin, Richard Sadek and Michael Lahey, she was born and raised at Armidale and sold through our Magic Millions Adelaide Yearling Draft.

Congrats to her winning connections, there looks to be plenty more in store for this smart filly and we look forward to offering her full sister in 2023.
