Armidale on top once again

The next generation embark on their racetrack careers as the Tasmanian Magic Millions Yearling Sale comes to a close for another year.

We are incredibly proud of the whole team and their efforts in what was a busy sale with 38 yearlings on offer. The yearlings were presented in magnificent order, and they are a credit to them.

We were delighted to secure the title of leading vendor, and it is an absolute thrill to have sold the top lot for the 5th year running, with Lot 106 Toronado – Il Sogno Filly (pictured) going to the bid of A List Stud.

Needs Further secured the leading sire title on average (3 or more lots sold), and the Star Thoroughbreds team purchased his top-priced yearling, Lot 51. Denise Martin of Star Thoroughbreds has had plenty of experience with the family, having raced the dam Arenzano and the colt’s half-sister, Emily.
