Alpine Eagle winners

Alpine Eagle Flying

Alpine Eagle has continued his rich vein of form with his three-year-old progeny stamping their mark in two states over the past two days.

Lightly raced, and ultra-consistent filly Dawn Eagle was bold in victory when winning at Launceston yesterday over 1200 metres for John Blacker.

Then, today at Gawler, Armidale Stud-bred filly Alpine Flyer was dominant over 1200 metres, winning by 1.4 lengths for trainer Jim Smith. Purchased out of the paddock as a yearling by Wolf Blass, who also raced her sire Alpine Eagle, she is out of our resident mare Palazzo Miss.

We would like to congratulate the connections of these two very smart fillies and we look forward to seeing them step out again during their spring campaigns.
