Hellova win on the big stage

Well, we all knew how good of a horse Hellova Street is and yesterday at Flemington the mainlander’s found out how good he is.

The gelding by deceased Arimdale stallion Helike (Rahy) showed his fighting ability by winning the $200,000 Group 3 TCL TV Stakes over 1400m.

At his third start this campaign he was superbly rated in front by leading jockey Brenton Avdulla and fought on tenaciously to defeat a quality field.

The 7yo gelding is from the Secret Savings (USA) mare Butter Street who has also produced stakes winner Streetwise Savoire. She is in foal to Alpine Eagle.

Well done to Team Brunton and connections on a fantastic win.

Also congratulations to Grenville stud, First Light Racing and Ellerton/Zahra racing with the Group 3 placing of Tasmanian Magic Million sale graduate Smart Coupe in the Kennedy Plate over 1100m.
