Ultra consistent seven year old son of LADONI (GB) WEALTHY LAD rewarded his Tasmanian syndicate of owners yet again today with a gutsy win at Sandown on 1200m in the Samson Handicap. Trained by Robert Smerdon since he has moved across the water, and capably ridden by Chris Symons, WEALTHY LAD never really looked in danger winning easily by almost 4 lengths. He beat a class field of horses including Rocking Force and Doubtful Jack.
